Cajun Noodles with a Yum Yum Cajun Twist!

Enjoy this quick and delicious Cajun-inspired stir-fry noodle dish that combines the bold flavors of Cajun cuisine with the convenience of a store-bought sauce. It's a perfect blend of spicy, savory, and satisfying!

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (about 225 grams) of your favorite stir-fry noodles (such as rice noodles or udon noodles)

  • 1 pound (450 grams) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 1/2 cup snap peas, ends trimmed

  • 1/2 cup Yum-Yum Cajun sauce

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the stir-fry noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the shrimp to the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the cooked shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. Add the sliced red and green bell peppers, red onion, broccoli florets, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften but remain crisp.

  6. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the stir-fried vegetables. Toss everything together to combine.

  7. Add the cooked stir-fry noodles to the skillet and pour the Yum-Yum Cajun sauce over the noodles and stir-fry mixture.

  8. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the noodles are well coated with the Cajun sauce and everything is heated through.

  9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more Cajun sauce if desired.

  10. Serve the Cajun Shrimp and Vegetable Stir-Fry Noodles hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for added flavor and texture.

  11. Drizzle a little extra Yum-Yum Cajun sauce over the top for that irresistible Cajun kick!
